GDPR settings
GDPR Portal gives the customer the opportunity to personally see and edit their personal data. The client logs in to the GDPR portal by his e-mail, where he can see and edit his data. Once edited, the changes are not yet applied to the portal. Instead, the GDPR process is launched. If this change is manually confirmed by the managers of the Portal, then the changes are applied in the Portal and sent to HDMS, and the client receives a letter stating that his changes have been applied.
Here you can enter URLs for your company`s website, your privacy policy, and the footer text for a privacy policy.
Here you can set the properties that the user can request changes for (those are the properties from the contact entity):
- Basic informatiоn
2. Communication
3. Communication preferences for commercial purposes
4. Private address
5. Data
Some types of property fields such as entity type and file type cannot be included in the GDPR survey.
Keep in mind that if your contact entity has the required fields, they should be included in the survey, otherwise the survey won`t work.
To log in to the GDPR portal the customer`s email must be in the contact entity.
The link that is used to access the GDPR portal looks like this - tenantid.hypergdpr.com ('tenantid' is the name of your HyperPortal tenant).
After opening the link the customer will be prompted to enter the email address, then the security code that was sent to the customer`s email.
After that, the customer will be able to request changes to their personal information.
