The dashboard is used to track and manage your manual tasks. To access your dashboard you need to click on 'Workflows' -> 'Your dashboard'.

Document image

On the top of the dashboard, you will see a summary of unfinished manual tasks that are available to you.

Below you can see the list of available and ongoing tasks (you will be able to see only the tasks where you have 'execute' permissions.)

Document image

You can also switch to displaying tasks that were assigned to you by clicking on the 'ongoing' metric.

Document image

The priority of the task is indicated by the icon on the left side.

Document image

In the task list, you can see available and ongoing tasks. Ongoing tasks are the tasks that were accepted by someone but are not finished yet. Available tasks are the tasks that currently are not assigned.

The Deadline for each task is displayed on the right side.

You can also start a new process here by clicking on the 'start new process' at the top.

Filters

At the top of the dashboard page, you can set the task filters. All tasks will be displayed if no filters are set (if you have execute permissions for them)

Document image

Process name - here you can choose processes, only tasks from chosen processes will be displayed. Multiple processes can be chosen.

Document image

Task title - here you can choose to display only tasks with certain titles.

Document image

Assignee - here you can filter tasks by assignees. By default only tasks that are assigned to your user account and no one are displayed.

Document image

Deadline date - this filter allows you to display tasks based on their deadline date

Document image

Filters dependencies - Process name, task title, and assignee filters are dynamic. This means that if you choose a certain process in the "process name" field, then only the tasks from this process will be available for selection in the "task title" field.

You can turn on the Kanban view by clicking on the "edit view" button -> Kanban

Document image

The Kanban view supports all the metrics and filters as the list view, but the data is grouped by columns

The grouping property can be chosen in the edit view menu or by clicking on the quick filter "group by this field" icon

You can group tasks by

  • Process - each column will represent the separate process
  • Task - each column will only contain one type of task
  • Assignee - the task will be grouped by hyperportal users
  • Deadline - tasks are grouped by the deadline.

You can manage (add/remove/move) columns in the edit view menu.

Document image

Or in the quick filter menu of the property that is currently used for grouping

Document image

Only the columns of the same type as a grouping property are available for selection (only users when the grouping property is "assignee" etc.)

Only grouping by deadline has predefined columns - overdue, today, this week, this month, later, and no deadline.
